Wibbon all finished up

Hey Guys,

Wibbon, the salamander alien thing, is just about finished. This guy was more of a challenge then my previous model, Leo. I had to experiment and troubleshoot all sorts of issues, but he turned out pretty good. He's suppose to have a wet like texture on his body (like a salamander) and have a demented, but fun, look. All in all, he was a fun character to model and I can't wait to animate this guy. I hope you like, but now... it is time to animate!!! More posts to come.

Wibbon

Hey Guys,

I'm on a modeling binge right now. Another concept by the talented Megan Dong, I give you Wibbon, the Lizard/Dog/Dinosaur thing. He belongs in the same world as Leo and he's just about finished. This guy took me about two work days, so not to bad for my first quadruped. I have a little tweaking here and there, then I will unwrap and start texturing. I have my buddy Dan rigging Leo for me, so he will be ready to animate in a week or so. (very excited). I'll have another post soon.

Leo all textured up

Well, I'm just about finished with the modeling and texturing side of things. He was lots of fun to model and somewhat fun to texture. I used Zbrush as a texturing tool for the first time, and it is a whole heck of alot easier than just using Photoshop. I believe I'm going to have someone else rig him for me so I could get started on a new animation test or a new model. I'll have another post soon.

Leo

Hey Guys,

I started a new model. A concept design by Megan Dong, which I've been meaning to model for a while. I didn't know how to address the middle eye, but I decided to take on the challenge. It took me about a day to get to this point, but I still have some work to do. I will hopefully have it done in about a week, but we will see. I'll have another update pretty soon. Have a great weekend.

Hello!!

Hello everybody! It's been a while since the last time I posted. I've been keeping busy rigging Piper. Also, I animated a quick quadruped test. My recent accomplishment is a NEW WEBSITE! www.HyroglyFX.com. Go ahead and take a gander, let me know what you think. Anyway, I'll post some new stuff pretty soon.

Tennis Test/ Piper TurnAround

Hey guys,

This is my updated tennis test. I had changed a lot since the last test and I think it turned out pretty good. I need to do a few tweaks here and there, but it's just about finished. My last test is a two person dialog and I am quite excited for that. I haven't decide what it will be, but I have a good arsenal that I can work with. More updates to come.

This is my finished metal head character. His name is Piper and he is a Scottish base player. He likes to rock out and long walks on the beach. Anyway, I'm getting him ready for texturing and rigging. I will post more stuff soon, whether it's animation, rigging or modeling. See you soon.Hey guys,

Tennis Match

My next Animation test is the tennis match. This one is going to be nice and difficult, but fun. I've been look up reference and analyzing the movement of the character, the wight distribution, the feet placement and the subtleties in the person before and after the hit. It's pretty cool stuff.

Sheer gold.
